87 Quadracer. The bike was taken down to a bare frame and rebuilt with all new bushings and all new stainless hardware. the motor was completly torn down and rebuilt by a race shop and the Head was hand ported for mid range acceleration. The Manifold is a cool head desing to add power at bottm end. The rear shock is the only other thing on the bike other that the fram that is original - although the frame is powder coasted to never rust the rear shock was sent out and rebuilt also by a race shop. The front a-arms are custom bulit shrome Plus 1 / Plus 2 which means they are out 1 inch past stock fwd. and 2 inches wider. This plus 5 rear excaliber racing axle. the rims and tires on it are red line bead locks with mid agressive tires (about $900.00 for the set up) the brake line on the bike are steel braded and dipped in a coating - the steering stem is a lonestart racing shart. the bars are Tag motorcross. it has a racing discontect. The exahust is a Paul turner tripple chorme midrange with a fat boy silencer on it. The front shocks are oling zero preload racing shocks ($1500.00) the original plastic I have as well as the original tires etc... but the Plastic is a Modified race design - New and the Rear grab bar was repalces with an aluminum one - the nerf bars are Gradon Racing aluminum. And other frame accesorry was (like the foot pegs etc...) was sandblasted and Powder coated in Black. Is this too much for trail riding and blowing away friends? Like is it too low or anything like that for trails. It's "only" $3750

i have a 1985 Suzuki LT250R and i ride it just like you said you wanna.
in the trails around town, I go to the track once a week and race, ive owned it for 5 years now and i think ill keep it for the rest of my life. I just rebulit the entire thing this winter becuz it means that much to me, not becuz i wanna sell it or anything. I may get another bike sometime but ill never get rid of the original racer.
