Im in a crunch and received the PRO ARMOR race tether today from Brown without any instructions. Go figure. Has anyone installed one on on their 06 LTR 450 yet? I have no wiring diagram available and I need to know which is closest wire to the stator under the front fenders. Dealers service dept is closed and I race on Sunday.

HI YOUR TETHER SHOULD HAVE ONE SHORT AND ONE LONG WIRE FIT THE SHORT WIER TO AN EARTH ANYWHERE UNDER THE HEADLIGHT THEN IF YOU SIT ON YOUR BIKE THE COIL IS ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE YOU WILL SEE A WHITE WIRE THIS IS WHERE YOU FIT THE LONG ONE JUST SPLICE INTO IT THEN THATS IT JOB DONE

 

As an alternative to the post above you can connect the n/o switch to the white wire on the left side near the top shock mount which runs to the stator with a blue wire.
Ground the other switch wire to the chassis. (A good spot is the cable keep bracket jst below the bar clamp.)
