banshee97,
I believe the Turf Tamer is a 2 ply tire so that ,may account for the lower recommended pressure. Why don't you just try running 6 psi all around & see how the machine acts in the corners? If you get excessive roll-over, esprecially on the fronts, you might increase the psi a little. I run 6 psi in my Banditxc's all around & that works the best for me for stability and footprint. Of course the Bandit has a very stiff side wall so higher pressure isn't needed. There are so many variables...riding conditions, degree of aggressiveness in corners, soil, etc it is hard to make a single choice for all possibilities. Some riders prefer a lower psi (4 psi) to provide a wider foorprint, however the use of beadlocks in that case are a good idea.
The best idea is to experiment until you find what works best in your situation.
