hello, i am putting a new topend on a 2001 honda 300ex and i just noticed that the piston rod is curved to the rear of the engine. it looks like it was made like that but it can't be can it. it smoked bad and only had 60 psi of compression so we ordered a new piston kit. it did not knock or run bad. it actually was pretty fast just really smokey. does anybody know if the piston rod is bent or made like this. i don't know what they did to bend it.

 

Hydraulic'ed it. Engines don't like compress liquid.
Or a 75hp shot of nitrous at low RPM will do the same thing. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
