Default DS650 tranny problems.

I've been having some trouble with my '02 DS 650's tranny lately. It has been finding false neutrals lately. Also, just started today, sometimes it will be REAL hard to shift, and at times, wont even go out of the gear it is in. Like with the clutch in, the shifter will barely budge. If I do get it to budge, when it is doing this, I can shift up, but I am still in the same gear. Whats my problem? Thanks a ton for the help!

Do yourself a favor and nip it in the bud before it gets worse and costs you a whole lot more mulah.
Through the help of this site I was able to do mine myself.

I have had this same problem .. mine would get "stuck" in 2nd gear. the problem ended being the neutral sensor in the tranny. this works the neutral light.. took it out & no more problem. i thought it was the shift forks.. this was much cheaper.

I should have said it "sounds like" the shifting fork(s) His is an 02. The heels on the forks wear down after time and need replacing. Downshifting (like I did) without a clutch over time will cause this.

Well, it can't hurt to replace them, my tranny is feeling sloppy lately. What parts will I need, and what do I have to do? I appreciate the help!
