its like they said its your 2nd gear shift fork-- both of mine are down and i have started on one of them as we speak

 

Woah... a little out of my range, I think its time to start saving some money, and givin the shop a call. 'Preciate the help everyone!

 

I thought the same thing on the shift fork replacment. I am just waiting for some parts and having my gears race cut now. I had never had my motor out of my quad until 3 weeks ago. It was not really that hard. I split the cases took out the gears and shift forks.

I would do the repair myself if I were you. Just take your time, follow the instructions, take some pictures yourself and you will do fine.
