I like the eiger, I did a lot or research when I bought mine and suzuki gave the best deal. Before I paid it off I think that the paymenst were like $67 a month. The eiger is also prewired for almost everthing, I dont know much about the Big Bear. The eiger has a lot of power and is pretty fun to drive. Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 Eiger, purchased new. I have put almost 2500 miles on it. I've had it serviced regularly......and run synthetic oil.
I had to replace one rear driveshaft seal.......that's it. Period.
The bike is a ball to ride........not too big......very manuverable........and very comfortable.
I haul about 100-120 lbs of gear......in a search and rescue capacity. While the 500's.....650's and 700's have no trouble pulling away on the open road, when the trail gets tight and manuverability becomes the issue, the Eiger more than holds it's own.
Don't let the solid vs IRS axle become an issue. Most riders couldn't tell one from the other if they didn't look.
Buy the quad that fits you.
While I wouldn't mind just a bit more power on occassion, overall, I don't think there's a better quad for the money made.
