DS OR RAPTOR
#3
DS's won Four Stroke Wars and Planet Sand this year... not to mention a DS is the world record holder for 300' four stroke single cylinder, with a 3.97(I'm pretty sure that was the time)... it was sub 4 anyway. DS makes a damn fine drag racer.

You may want to consider the YZ450 quad.
The Raptor will way out handle the DS and it alot easier to throw around.
If you are looking for a "sport" quad, then go with Yamaha. They are the best.
Otherwise Outlanders are the best, but BRP customer service SUCKS!

The big yamaha raptor engine is a drag chassis is going together from TOP SECRET RACING. We wont be giving up 100+cc's to the Bombs either . I fully expect to be able to run with the rest with NO bottle. Many of yall from here have seen our little motor Raptors run in OEM chassis that may give you an idea of what is in store .

According to the shootout written up in Quad magazine The Raptor 700 out performed both the KAW 700 and the Bombardier Baja 650. In fact the Bombardier came in dead last in every category except how it handled in the whoop’s and wide open desert. Other then that they said the Bomb was way under powered, the suspension with it’s 12” travel was acceptable at best and because of its weight it was not a good handler in anything but straight wide open desert running. The Bomb was also the only one tested that didn’t have a reverse or state-of-the-art Electronic Fuel Injection.
The Bombardier is soon to become a dinosaur.
Of course the write up only spoke of out of the box bikes.
