So i gather that the DS is the bike to have.

 

after watching my ds with the 730 big bore with a 200 lb rider just mop up the raptors today i would have to say yes to the ds. even the yfz boys were so amazed that they had to come over and take a look at what just sanblasted them in there face. but the biggest props have to go out to the 2 drag banshees, these 2 guys put on a show today that was down rite impressive it was a blue one and i dont remember the color of the other one. if that was dabeechman on his bike let me tell you he has one bad a$$ ride. get a ds and if your not happy with it i will take it off your hands for half price[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

technicaly,the ds is not faster then the raptor...If you beat a raptor ,its because you have 100cc more and its in a drag race chasis? What would happen if the raptor would be 800cc and more and really light?

 

wrong, my motor is in the original ds frame and has not been litened at all. it still weighs in at almost 500 lbs if you ever come to california let me know becouse i will line it up with you anytime you want. now with that said, i am in the process of having a drag frame built. i cant imagine how bad its gonna eat those raptors up then being say 200 lbs liter . if i have a 100 cc more than a raptor what are you running? i did not know they actualy made a 630 raptor. the ones we saw yesterday and spanked like a redheaded step child were the 700 fuel injected. my 730 is not really 730 cc its like 726 or something like that. so lets do this equation again the raptor which is only 26 cc smaller than my 730 but yet its fuel injected where mine is carberated and to top it all off i do believe the raptor is about 90 lbs liter than the ds. i took calculas in school and i could not figure out where i gained a 100 ccs over the raptor. but now in all fairness to the raptor when my 05 x lined up against the 700 and both bikes were equal in weight rider/bike combo it did beat mine by about a half a length. so now do the math my 650 which is really a 652 cc against a 700cc fuel injected raptor and it can only beat my bike by a half a length it just dont make since, the raptor is 90 lbs liter, 48 cc more and is fuel injected. whats really going on here.

 

In all honesty, all things being equal between the two and its gonna be a dog fight my friend. Silverbullet & Dollarbillz's raptors are the two fastest raptors that I have seen to date and they are in an OEM chassis. The problem that I have seen with raptors that have been built to the hilt is that they just dont seem to live very long. It will be very interesting to see what Top Secret Racing and Ubetrun brings to the table at the Clash of the Titans in Sicily Island, Louisiana in October. I hear Kenz also makes a very fast raptor as well. Overrated's bike done quite well at the last Clash and will only get faster as he combines more lightweight parts with his driving ability. Its gonna be a good year to own both bikes, to say the least, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
