Default extended A arm and axle width question IM REALLY CONFUSED!!

Ok,If i were to buy +2 A arms, does that mean each a arm is two inches wider than the stock ones?,making my quad "4" inches wider? Or is it one inch per side making my quad "2" inches wider? Same question with extended axles. I dont know if the + 2 stands for total amount of width you gain or the actual length of each a arm or axle! I only want my quad a total of 2 inches wider(1 inch per side). Im ready to buy a arms and an axle but i have no idea what size to get. haha

Plus 2 arms will make your quad 4" wider, give or take a little. A plus 4" axle will make your quad 4" wider, give or take a little. So to balance out you need plus 2 arms and a 4 axle. Most aftermarket parts have some adjustments, so you can reduce them some.

If you want it a total of 2" wider you will need +1 a-arms and a +2 axle.
