I've been going through way too many CV boots. Mostly getting torn up on sage brush. What does everyone recommend for protection? Seems like the stock plastic CV boot guards on my 2006 Rancher do a pretty good job for oncoming sticks and such but I'm wondering if A-arm protection would be the best addition? I've seen both CV boot protection and A-arm protection in aluminium.

Just looking for advice that will save replacing $23 boots and those $6 and $8 bands every day I'm working...

 

If you can get the durable Plastic guards like Arctic Cats, I would get those insted of Aluminum. My buddy has had his aluminum ones for 9 days, and they are all bent to heck. I have bottomed out on some large rocks, and all you get is a scuff, just my opinion

 

I ended up with the Moose A-arm guards. They were twice what I thought I was going to be spending ($120). They look pretty slick but I wish they were all plastic myself. Hope that I won't be replacing CV boots anymore...
