Default blown motor.....but dose it need a botom end job?

ok i blew my motor on my kx80 and when it blew it locked up and i could not kick ther bike over! so after some cussin i tore the bike down and found alot of metale shavings on the piston and head.....they were also in the bottom end. so i took the clutch cover off 2 start the disassembley i took a rachet and turned the clutch back and forth and it broke free! so im still tearing the case apart to get all the metal out of it so im getting a new piston and im cleaning the head but do i need 2 do a bottom end job? All the help i get will be helpful thanks

yes with the highspeed of a 2stroke i would replace all bearings.you will need a engine shop to split crank to replace rod bearing.

As long as your in it, now would be the best time to do it and get it out of the way. The old school rule is if your going to rebuild the top save yourself some pain and rebuild the bottom also. =]
