I picked up my White 06 Wolverine from the dealer last night. It is a replacement for my 99 Scrambler that died. I've been pretty disappointed with the reliability of the Polaris so I'm switching to Yamaha. My only concern is the handling. It is a little smaller than the Scrambler so I don't know how the ride is going to compare. The power seems good enough, I don't drag race, just trail ride so I don't care about top speed. Anybody have any experience with both want to comment on the ride? I'm going to start my break in this weekend.

 

i just want to say that i despise polaris and glad you switched over to yamaha. This is my own opinion so please don't get offended. i have ridden with a wolverine when i was home on leave and it seemed to be an exceptional trail riding atv. Hope you like it.

 

No offense taken. My family in Iowa has had problems with service on their Polaris, and I had problems here in Ohio with service. When mine quit working, that was it. I thought that the Scrambler was the only crossover quad but I was wrong. The added features like shaft drive, speedo and other features makes for a very nice quad. I don't expect top speed near my what my 400 could do but I never ride at top speed anyways.
