I've put in recoil springs on various machines before.........but this little mojave 110 is killin me. Anybody have any tips on getting the recoil spring back into the housing assembly/reel?

 

I don't know. That little Mojave 110 engine is pretty close to my '85 185 Bayou. Do you have a service manual? If you'd like, I could read my service manual for the 185, and see if it has any tips on getting the spring back in. It has a lot of tips in it.

 

I looked at the parts diagram for the bayou185 and the recoil assembly looks very similiar. So if your book has any tips on replacing the spring, I would appreciate them.
