eiger or artic cat 400?
#1
Hey guys I am looking and leaning toward one of these two. I have rode the artic cat and it was ok but havent got to ride the eiger but hear good things about it. Me and my wife are buying two new wheelers and I think this is the two. She needs and auto and both have this. I went to my local dealers and at the suzuki dealer he offered me an eiger with 4 wheel drive auto for 5500 out the door. At the Artic Cat dealer they offered me 6100 out the door for a 4 wheel drive auto. Now the Cat did have independent rear suspension and 4 wheel disk brakes so it did offer more. Are these good prices and what does everyone think on the two as far as choices?

They have the same engine but that is about it. If you are going to do some fast trail rides, the Eiger would be the one. The AC will out do it every time in utility and work. It has better racks with MRP, more suspension travel & IRS, great ground clearance, etc. I had a 2004 400 and loved it. Good luck!

That is an ok deal with the Suzuki, dont know much about the AC deal. I know that the auto in the eiger is goning to be about $200-$300 more, (that is what it was when I bought mine.) You could look for used but new has a warranty, I like that. Since you are buying two, whom ever you choose tell them to give you a deal like $10,000 out the door for both if you choose the eiger. I know out here in AZ some places will deal. I love my eiger goes every where. I would go with the eiger and take the extra money that you save and get some upgrades like a winch, or metal skid plates. Both are good machines, suzuki makes the motor. Hope this helps.

My dealer has the 2006 Eiger 400 4x4 Auto for 4299 OTD (Oklahoma). The retail is only 5349, $5500 seems way too high. What else is included in that or am I missing something?

Bartlesville, Ok , about hour north of Tulsa, OK
www.bartlesvillecyclesports.com
And their pricing is all online. We don't have tax on ATV's here in OK, so you might still have to pay tax in your state if you have to register your atv's. We don't have to. I like the way they price everything up front, it is hard to beat their prices on what they have.
