Default eiger or artic cat 400?

Well I have checked everywhere and the 5500 is the best I can do on the eiger auto 4 wheel drive within 150 miles. I can drive to Oklahoma and save about 300 but I guess I will just buy local. I have decided on the eiger.

I just purchaced a new 06 Eiger manual last month for $4399 plus tax and tags, total was around $4700, central Pennsylvania, Dealer: Cernics, Duncansville Pa. The auto was $200 more, the Vinson manual was $5199, auto was $5399. My first choice was the Yamaha Big Bear but every dealer wanted over $5000, now im happy I picked the Eiger over the Big Bear. The Eiger is a good machine I abuse mine, hit a tree, banged the bottom over rocks, it took vertical hill climbs that I never thought it could make, plus its stingy on gas, I had it out a full day running it non stop for 65 miles and it only used 1/4 tank of fuel.

Well I finally got the best deal by persistance. I called the dealer in Texarkana TX and told him the dealer in Kentwood would sell it for 4899. He went and asked the owner if he could beat it and he come back at 4799 OTD. I finally feel like I am getting a great deal. Going to pick it up thursday.

Congradulations, you got a good machine, everytime I take my Eiger out I try and try to get it stuck on purpose and I never did. I make my own paths thru the woods, it goes over downed trees and rocks that surprizes me, I shift it in and outta 4x4 while moving in gear, its a perfect size going thru narrow trails and in between trees and hauling on the back of my truck and its really stingy on gas, ride with anybody else and they will run outta gas before you do. I had a choice in 3 colors black, red and green, I picked the black.

Sorry about bringing this old thread back to life. However, it's relevant to my question. I'm considering buying a 4x4 Eiger Manual Shift. Both Bartlesville Cycle and Unique Powersports have the same price on an '06 at $4411 OTD. For those with experience, how is the buying experience at these dealers? If I am an Oklahoma resident and I buy in Oklahoma do I have to pay tax?
