It is made by Bombardier but from what I hear Bomb doesn't want any association with the john deere name I don't know why. My dad has one and he seems to like it but the bomb is cheaper. just my .02

It's simply an outsourced item for John Deere.....BRP removed the Quest from it's lineup a couple of years ago but has an agreement to produce them exclusively for John Deere....BRP wants to be more associated with recreational product then utility.

Yes they are made by Bombardier sold under the name Buck
I have a Quest 650, John Deere now
Wish mine was Green and yellow
John Deere outsources lot of their smaller stuff and buys from all over
The have excellant control quality and would not by from Bombardier if thier product was iffy
I have a John Deere 345 Riding lawnmower with a Kawasaki 575cc engine in it.
Blew the left clutch on my 450G JD dozer, when I took the housing apart I discovered it had bearings made in Japan
