Default Exhaust Modification

I would love to hear some input from people who modified their stock exhaust and what the results were. I don't have the $$$ to bye a new one now, but thought about cutting out the little curved hot dog coming out of the muffler and replacing it with a Brawtwurst sized curved piece.

Would this help at all or not? Thanks for any advise.

Jamie

get an 800 dual header for $100 and a silencer, preferably the WB/Pure Polaris e series.

all the part numbers for the Header pipe and the snorkel mods. they go as follows:

800 Head pipe MOD
Header pipe- 1261445-029
(3)Heat shields- 5244014 front on 700 sameas rear on 800
5248703
5248702
Header to cylinder gasket- 5811511
Header pipe to muffler seal- 3610047
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
800 AIRBOX SNORKLE MOD
Airduct/ snorkel- 5435932
Airduct/ snorkel gasket- 5411422

both of these mods can be done without replacing the gaskets/seals due to them being the same part number as stock 600/700/800 models are all the same part number.

NO, it will give you ALOT more power! I went from 155 jet to 162.5 and from 47.5 pilot jet to 50. You may have to remap the EFI .I dont know it will adjust itself or not.
