Default dealer rode the renegade

I went to the dealer to get some bearings and he told me they rode the renegade. HE said it was AWESOME. It is the outi engine but felt like you added a big bore kit to it. He said it was hands down the most incredible quad he has ever ridden. They should have one by november, and i cant wait to try it out.

It's going to feel like it's got more power with the 25' tires and 40 pounds lighter. I put 25' tires on my outie 800 and it was like a diff. machine

I asked my dealer about them on Saturday. He said that he had been to the dealer show but did not get to ride due to the skins being fiberglass. He said that the initial batch of Renegades will only be about 50 bikes, each larger dealer getting one. He said that you won't see volume until around March. He swares that within 3-5 years Can-Am will be on top of the atv market. Oh yeah, they also sell Kawasaki, Suzuki and Polaris. He also said that the new 450 will be a 4-stroke. He asked them about a 2-stroke and was told that they had tried an 800 but it was just way too powerful for the average rider so they scrapped the idea. He was also told that he could put Can-Am stickers on all of his old 2005 & 2006 that were not sold yet, so he did. Looks kind of funny with BRP on front with Can-Am stickers on the fenders.

Our Dealer is swamp fox, and the guy I talked to was Darren. I dont know what show he went to though, he could be telling me a little fib, just telling what he said.

Not saying a word as I was with the local dealer at that show and he was one of the last ones to leave that day while the Renegade sat under a tent in prototype form. The show was in TN at the beginning of the month.

they didnt merge, they renamed themselves to CAN-AM. it's a name that theyve used before but retired in the mid 80's or so.
