Backfiring Polaris Magnum 500

Where is the reverse override switch located on a 1999 magnum 500?? I have checked several other things on this bike w/o luck fixing this thing. Any ideas.......

where's the override switch???Backfiring Polaris Magnum 500

checked the cam ok may have found the problem the speedometer is causing the problem
