I just got a used 300 Xpress and I am in the proces of getting it ready to ride. The last owner did very little mataince on it. He just rode it and that was it. Here is what I have done so far.
1) New air filters and cleaned the air box.
2) Greese all the fittings.
3) Drained the old gas
4) Filled the oil tank
5) sprayed the chain with wd-40 and later chain lube.
6) New battery.
** 7) It need a new front light bulb
** 8) Needs new grips

I have started it and rode arong the block and now when I hit the start switch it starts right up.

It really needs new front tires.

Can anybody offer me other things that I need too fix or might wanna change.

How hard is it too change Brakes and chain?
