just curious where everyone is going? looks like we are going to sand mountan nv for what is usually the planet sand king of the hill weekend. its the biggest weekend of the year at that hill and the fastest stuff from all over the country will be showing up. its a zoo. anyone else going to be there? if not where are you headed??

 

Dragon, Big D, Myself, Nut, Fryguy will all be in oregon. Scatter is gonna be at Christmas Valley. That covers thr group we always see. You should come on up to oregon..It is a lot nicer on the coast then it is at sand mountain NV..Way to HOT..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I am going to be camping. Would love to go up to silver lake, but I know it is going to be a nut house there.

 

oregon is to far! sand mountain will be 80 degrees and there will be lots of entertainment!

80 degrees is too hot for good times as far as I am concerned. 60-70 and cool ocean breez, and some of the best riding around. That is my opinion anyway....Man I wish that was this weekend

 

but are there any real hills in oregon? (never been there) I like to watch the races. lets face it, anywhere you go on memorial weekend is going to be a zoo and the sand will be to torn up to ride anyway and there will be 2 people coming up the other side of whatever dune your trying to go over. I would rather go somewhere where I can just hang out and watch other people race all day on 80 , 90, and yes even 100mph + bikes . the worlds fastest hill bike will be at sand mountain memorial weekend and will be running over 100mph up the hill. thats entertainment.

There are lots of good hills up there, Sand Mt NV has the one hill that is a bit bigger. I can't watch too much. I would rather ride, torn sand or not, gotta ride. But that is just me, everyone gets thier kicks and relaxes in different ways....You guys have fun over there in the heat.
