Default ASR Upper Arms Shock Clearance Problem

I have a set of the ASR Upper A Arms and had NO Complaints they are great! Buttttttttt I just got my Work Shocks done and there are no clearance where the caster helm joit is.
I hate to have to grind the A Arms for clearance and also hate the ideal of going back to stock arms, will the 03 on up just bolt on??
Oh the reason the shocks dose not fit is on the stock shock the bottom part is just alum that about 3 to 4 inches with no spring, the works uses the full length of the shock with its spring, the spring is in the geometry of the upper A arm path.

I have the same problem.
I have the ASR upper A-Arms and just tried to install my Ohlins shocks and found the springs hit the upper Arms big time.
Did you ever find a solution for this problem?

I had to adjust the heims on the A-arms to make it work.
