Default Valve adjustment

I have a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 Ultramatic ATV that has a ticking in the engine, I'm wanting to check the valve clearance. Anyone know the valve adjustment specs? Hot or Cold?
I found and downloaded a repair manual from Mud and Dirt's website which states 0.06-0.10 intakemm and 0.16-0.20mm exhaust cold but they still click...
Any help would be great...

Well I don't know the specs on yours... but mine were printed on the airbox lid.

It's done on a cold engine.

I just recently checked mine, it still ticks.

I wouldn't get too worried.

The numbers you have there are metric, the inch measurements are .0024"-.0039" intake, and .0063"-.0079" exhaust.
