Octane Rating
#2
On a stock motor there's no reason to run any higher than the manufacturer's recommended octane. I don't know what that is on the raptor, but it'll tell you in the owner's manual. Running higher octane doesn't mean more performance, it means that the fuel burns slower. On a stock engine that means more carbon deposits.

I don't know about your subaru, but your Raptor doesn't automatically adjust the EFI to take advantage of different fuels and changes in intake and exhaust. It's a decidedly cheaper system than is found on most economy cars, let alone performance vehicles.
