New Heelclicker Weights
#3
I got a chance to try out the new Heelclicker weights this weekend. I used to have the old 40-10 Heelclickers with their white primary and the stock secondary set at 2-1. I threw in the new 38-12 weights with the 2.5 gr. screw in the base, and left everything else the same. I noticed my engagement RPM came down to what feels like stock. It feels easier to pull the front tires up and it revs out a little faster. Seems to work well. Has anyone else had experience with a good set-up for the new weights?

I had someone tell me that by running too tight of a secondary spring, I will loose efficiency. Is this true, and what does it mean? Would I be better off with a looser setting in the secondary?
