I would appreciate any recommendation for cold weather gloves that have a "good feel" for riding. Also, can you please recommend a mail order business to purchase the gloves. Thank you in advance for your time on this question.

John,

I use Cabela's GORE-TEX/Thinsulate deluxe shooting gloves. They are waterproof and extremely warm. They're made for shooting, therefore, you get the full feel of the brakes, and throttle. You can call Cabela's at 1-800-237-4444, order # is NA-92-0003, comes in three different camo styles.

Gloves are good, yes. However the best money I have spent in a long while on an accessorie are the Hand Guards by MAIER in Cabela's. They keep the wind off as well as vines and small branches.

I would also recommend that you have grip and thumb warmers installed . All of our bikes have them and they work great . The dealer charged me $150 per bike installed .
They come with a hi - low switch . Great investment for winter riding . The price may be cheaper in the US .
