Which is most popular ATV mfg?

Just curious if Polaris ATV's are as popular outside of Minnesota as they are here? I took my teenage boys to an ATV training class last weekend and there were 60 wheelers there. Of the 60, 40 were Polaris. I was amazed. Is it just because they are built here that everyone has them or are they popular everywhere?

they are getting REALLY popular. I think i see more Polaris units on the trails up at lincoln hills than anything else! (with the exception of Outlander 400s, Bombardier must sell a lot of those!!!) anyway, they took care of their reliability problems (for the most part) and are definately class leading in performance for a lot of classes, so all that is adding to their popularity. I heard from someone that they were second in market share, behind Yamaha, but that they had in fact overtaken Honda... i could be wrong about this, but that's what i heard.

They are very common sight up here in Canada also!!I just bought two Sportsmans and picking them up saturday!!!They seem to be on every truck or trailer that goes by me on the highway!!!I think it is because of the value and the features they have....ex...IRS...high ground clearance......and most of all which was a big selling point for me----All Hydraulic disc brakes,,,,Many people told me they have trouble with sealed drums filling up with mosture and they need way more attention...Thanks people do they shopping before they buy...

JjEjfJf: Funny, Polaris was the only one who wouldnt finance me. So I financed my SP500 through Yamaha...heh heh what they dont know wont hurt em.
I think Bombardiers are getting to be the most popular but I think Polaris has held the crown for awhile with Honda owning it before then.
