i run 20-11-9 razr 6 plys on mine, i have prolly 250 miles on them trail riding, they are a little nicked up but not too bad, holeshot HD's are very nice for traction, friend has them on his 400ex, hook up amazingly good on any surface, as for wear, he has around 100 miles on them and they look pretty much new

When my stock were bald I went with the Maxxis Razors 6 ply and I like them a lot. They give a lot of traction. I also went with the size 22. It is a different feel from the 20's but I like it. I got a good deal on them at rockymountain atv.

With 22's you have a higher top speed, but you will sacifrice bottom end power. U mite want to change the gearin as well. 22's give you more clearence... I need that cause it hasnt seem to stop rainin here 4 a while

I just put Holeshot XCR's all around on my '04 DS, 20x11x9 on the rear, and they fit fine on the stock wheels. A word of advise, take them to your local tire shop and have them put the tires on for you. It was the hardest 5 hours of my life to get those 4 tires changed.
The price on rockymountain for the tires, is for each tire, and the price for the tire and wheel packages is for two tires mounted on two wheels.
I paid just under $300 for the four tires. I haven't had a chance to ride with them yet but they gotta be better than the stock tires.
