raptor and warrior brake

I have the 2 yamahas, and both parking brakes dont do jack ****, is it me doing it wrong (which i doubt because it does limit the rev to 2000 rpms, Why doesn't it work!! i need a parking brake for certain situations, am i doing somthing wrong? its so annoying all the people i ride with like predators and 400's and all of them just use the front brake lever and hit the notches and it aint movin a muscle, anything i could do? any kits? thanks

The parking brake on the Warrior/Raptor always ends up f*cking up after a while, I'd just take the s.o.b off and leave it in gear or strap it down during transport.

If you really want to keep the parking brake, you will need to re-adjust it at the rear caliper frequently, probably about every 5 hours of riding. A service manual will show you how to do it.
I'm with the rest of these guys though, the parking brake is useless. What I do instead, which works really well, is when i'm transporting it I put a zip tie or bungee cord around the front brake lever. That locks the tires up better than the parking brake ever did, and you don't have to fool around with all the parking brake crap, re-adjusting it and getting a hard time from the rev limiter getting stuck.
