Hey everyone, im planning on getting a suzuki z400 and I need some more advice from you guys. Are there any problems with the z's from 03' - '06? Should I watch out and stay away from certains years? Also i'm really, really new to this kinda stuff and know almost nothing about engines or atv's for that matter. I can ride one just fine but I have no idea even how to begin modding/upgrading one if I ever a Z. 90% of what everyone says on this forum, I don't understand . Does any one also know if there is some sort of book? or website that can give me a guide to learning and doing all this? Thank you to anyone who can help me out here

 

You want an '05 and up because of the broken frame issues in the '03/'04

Just make sure you get the magnesium clutch cover on the '05 changed to aluminum like on the '04.
