Well guys, I must say that I was thoroughly dissapointed with the performance of the stock DS down at Glamis last weekend. Been so long since I had riden one that I forgot what gains were made with upgrades. Top end was nice but low and mid range pretty much sucked. I was looking forward to a fun weekend out with my son just cruising bowls and seeing all of the dunes that were open but ended up with a Fat Pig that couldn't crawl. Ended up having to take the 22" Sand Stars off, lose the snorkels and airbox lid, and adjust the needle just to make it worth the trip.

K&N filter
OMR's stock carb mods for now
air box removal
front fenders gone
stock heel guards and pegs gone
IMS Roll Design pegs
22" Paddles 23" fronts
are definitely on until some deals and a little more info roll in on suggestions.

ODP disced end cap or HPR billet if anybody has either laying around would be nice. Any other offers on the Lectrons rolling in??? How about the HPR Top Gun, anybody tripping over one?
Mods will be made before I throw my leg over this thing again.

Sorry to hear your trip didn't go as expected there Ace. At least you got out there with your boy. Couple mods and the bike will feel good out there. Looks like you know what you need to get. Good luck.
