Any alternatives to Polaris AGL?
#1
I plan on changing my Trailblazer transmission oil for the first time very soon. I have about 20 hours on my machine so I think it is time. Do I have to use Polaris AGL in my transmission? Money has nothing to do wtih it so I don't care about the cost I am just trying to avoid a 40 mile drive to my closest Polaris dealer. Thanks in advance.

Amsoil has a good product that is a direct subsitute and well as the rear diff and the crank case. The only produce they don't have in a convient size is the hydrolic oil for the front diff. it currently only sold in 5 gallon pails. Way to much for the typical home user. You can mail order most Amsoil products and typically have them in 2-3 days. PM me for more info. For the record I am an Amsoil dealer.

In my AC diffs I use the Amsoil Marine 70W-90 (I think those are the numbers!) It is great, as it can handle a mixture of 10% water and still perform.
