I'm writing this for my friend, he just bought a what i think is a rancher 400 with electric shift he was wondering if their are any problems he needs to watch out for.

There are a fair number of posts on problems with the ES, so buyer beware! Do a search.....

 

Found out its a rancher350es he was just wanting to know if their any major issue with it.

 

The Rancher 350 ES is a very solid ATV. There have been problems assciated with the electric shift system but from what I've gathered the newer bikes (03-present??) are, for the most part, exempt. Everyone I have asked, including the mechanic at the dealer, have all said to just ride and enjoy!!! The 350s may not be the fastest or the biggest on the market but from what I've read they seem to provide all their owners with plenty of worry free hours of riding. I've had mine for a year now and love it !!!
