So uhh...what happened? People dont care if i ride mine down the road or across town on mine, cause thats what everyone does and no one feels like callin the police on themselves.

Basically I knew the cop and he told me he was going this way and I better go that way...He wanted me to know not to ride on the MAIN Road.....and remarked on my bad example of not wearing a helmet....

It could have been worse "lucky I knew the guy".....the stateboys are pretty heavy handed when it is called for....The town cop could care less so long as I keep the speed down.

cops suck here too. they wont even let us have the gravel roads. But then again most of the gravel roads here are in National Park Service property and the feds get pissed.

alright its not like cops are out to get you, they are trying to do what is right and what they are told to do by law.. People call cops a$$holes when they know they are doing something wrong and a cop corrects them. What do you want the cop to let atv'ers take over the world?? Because haha thats what will happen if they let atv become legal, they would be everywhere!

Yeah...I got 2 state cops within 2 miles either way but quads are all over the place around here... but back to the story.....I found out today that the officer owns the car wash and seems like it has video somehow sent to his house up the road....that's how he showed up just after I pulled in.... guess what I bought today!! A new pressure washer... LOL

I know a bunch of NY Staties and am friends with a Captain in the Environomental Conservation Police, so if I'm not out being stupid, I can avoid trouble. I always ride with a helmet, jacket and gloves, as well as pants, high top shoes and nothing hanging off me that can get caught. I also stay off private property.

The cops in Az are pretty cool, keep the speed down and ride safe, it also helps it you are street legal but most dont care were I live. I can ride on the main road about two to three miles before I get to the desert and when I need gas I just roll up the the nearest gas staiton, get some funny looks some times but I don't care.
