Default ummm title I can't think of one

Hi! I'm about 5'1 140lb and I've been riding a 250 suzuki 2x4 sport quad. I want something with way better suspension that won't be to big. I was thinking either a 400ex or 350 raptor.
I mostly plan on ridding tracks and trails every now and then. Any sugestions?

I cant realy advise you to go with eathier of them for the fact that they dont have very go suspention. Go for it if you plan on replacing the shocks.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but: Do people really replace their shocks on a new quad? I was just looking at shocks and they were like $800 to $1000. And a full front suspension was like $2500. Holy shizit! It seems cost prohibitive. Ya buy a quad for 5k, and then dump thousands into it to ride trails.

I really don't know shizit about these things. I'm planning on getting 4 of the Quadsport's from Suzuki. From reading, and not personal experience, they seem to have a higher quality suspension(z400). Shizit, now I'm worried if I break a shock, it's gonna cost me 1/5 the cost of replacing the whole quad. It makes no sense to me to replace/upgrade the suspension on a new quad, just get one that has superior parts to begin with. Maybe one of the race-ready 450's?

A stock quad will be just fine for you and I garauntee you won't break a shock unless it's a freak accident or something. The only reason to replace stock shocks is if you're into racing. And even now a days that isn't necessary unless you're an "A" class rider.

Are there any other tools you can use to adjust the rear shock besides a shock wrench?
Thanks.

The 300EX is a step up. It at least has real sport quad suspension, and you could go with aftermarket suspension of you need to. I would pick one over the 350.

If I was your size, I would be ripping around on a highly modded Blaster..........

Well if I tune my suspension it would be just as soft and comfortable as the honda 300ex.
