Default Trouble getting raptor in revers

I jsut picked up an 04 raptor thats in great shape. I noticed that when i turn the reverse thing and go to shift down into reverse the light comes on but it doesnt really click into gear. I have to do it a few times. Then shift from reverse back into first it sticks a little to and doesnt shift until i let out the clutch then it jumps into gear. Do i have to make a clutch adjustment or something? All other gears shift fine when im movin.
ps. Raptors rule

No this is normal. The reverse gear is not synchronized, meaning the gears will not just mesh together. The best way when switching in and out of reverse is if it hangs up a little, just ease the clutch out just a little while continuing to move the reverse lever and it will slide right in.

You will get the hang of it very quick and it will become second nature right away.
