jetting advice

Default jetting advice

My sons 02 scrambler 50 is getting a new pipe and non limiting cdi. I was wondering if anyone knows what jet size I should start with when I put the parts on. any other ideas weould be appreciated.

you sure the pipe wont come w/ the set up instructions on the jetting. if its real rich you can try at 3 to 4 sizes up but hard to tell where to start.

With our pipe we run a 115 main and a 25 pilot @ 0-3000" that is with our filter kit too. These jets come with our kit too.

3-4 sizes, i think thats a bit much, Its only a 50cc dont forget, You most likely only need 1 or possibly 2, It might just be a needle jet elevation, Not sure if you will need a pilot jet change, all depends. I could be wrong though but I do think 3-4 is a bit much, Brian
