Are you close enough to check it out in person? The fact it has a new frame and the seller doesn't know what kind of shocks are on it seems a little fishy, but the pics all look decent at a glance.

i am 2 hours and 30 minutes away. The guy who owns it now bought it from the second owner who did all these mods to it. I guess the first onwer treated it realy bad and broke the frame and what not. The second owner got it really cheap and put alot of money into it as you can see, then he sold it to the current owners who have had it for less than a month. It was for their kid but he is more into trikes so i guess he is selling this. Would it be worth a bid. Im basically choosing between this and a 2000 scrambler 400 4x4 for $1700 that needs brakes and tires. It is for my brother who will be riding trails and hunting.

that deal looks alright, the plastics look really nice, everything looks clean you should go take a look and you might get a alright deal. Make sure all the lights work and everything is straight and tight if you go check it out.

well ok if the warrior and the scramlber were the same year which would be better for trail riding and racing with my buddies.

well the guy sold the scrambler but, he is selling another one. It is a 1999 400 sport. Not a 4x4 but would this better better or worse than the warrior for hunting and racing??? thanks

the warrior would be better for hunting because it is lighterand has a clutch then the scrambler and it would be better for racing because it is lighter, has racing style suspension and is basicly more of a sport bike then the scrambler and personally i think polaris suck because they are auto so you got to worry about the belts and those 400 are 2 stroke so that means more maintnence.

I hope this helps a little i was looking to buy them at one time before.

personally if i were buying that warrior i would go to look at it and make sure that the engine runs you know it looks alright but go over it well make sure that you point out all the faults to the owner and see if he will lower the price.
It doesnt look like that bad of a deal but i would make sure about the electrical stuff.

I have a warrior and just did my first serious trail riding. I have to say the clutch is a bit of a PITA. I can kick butt on the flat field parts, but severe rocky areas and hills involved a lot of clutch action where it made me wish for an auto 4X4. But my friends all like to take mine for a spin bevause of its quickness. Tough choice!
