Giovanni 50cc Valve job for Dummies???
#1
I have read the threads on valves for the Giovanni 50cc but still need some help as I have never owned a bike. I think I understand the settings but I need help locating all of the components.
If anyone can help this rookie it would be greatly appreciated. I am mechanically inclined I just need some direction!!
Thanks to all.

Generally Gio's are quite fine from the factory. Only if you have to because there is excessive noise, or its hard to start, or it quits when its running, relating to the valve train locking up. You shouldn't need to adjust it.
If you aboulutly are convinced that you have a valve issue, there is a large cap, top and bottom on the motor at the front to take off to make your adjustments, the valves both exaust and intake should be set at .028 (.03) on any model built after Oct. 2004.
