Tires 101, newbie here
#1
Hello!
I have a Honda trx250ex 2005, I have been enjoying it for the past year but I need a tire lesson here.
I have 22x10-9 rear and 22x7-10 front. I am told I don't necessarily need to get those exact sizes if and when I decide to replace them, how does that work and what sizes should or could I be looking at? I kind of understand what the numbers mean.
I liked the baloon tires to begin with but now they lack grip since I am becoming more adept at riding.
I also had a brochure from a company that makes camo tires, I forget the name but does anyone have experience with them? I liked the winter camo ones.
Also I read about a slip on exhaust I could get for it? Any links so I can check it out?
thanx
Russ

ALSO!
I am reading about the airbox vents, how is that done? can I just cut holes than cover them with a thick mesh screen?
How is that done?!
thanx again!
Russ
Also, if there is anything else I can or should do to it, let me know

I did read that and i understand, my main question is about the tires, I will most likely keep the same rims. Money is short but I am just seeking info right now.
I want to know if I should stick to the tire size I have now or can I get differant ones?
