Hi I'm new to asian bikes and if this question has been asked before sorry up front.
I just bought it for my son's birthday and as usual at the last minute.
Here is what I have done I did a search and read several posts by 2manytoys and I followed his instructions:
1. I changed the oil first thing
2. Ran the bike for 40 minutes idling ( adjusted idle up just a bit cause it stalled at first)
3. Shut it down and had supper and a couple of beer (1 hour)
4. Ran it again and drove it adn at 18 km/hr it bogs bad and as I lift the throttle it pick up to about 23 km/hr and then bogs again
5. put tape over half of air intake and still exact thing happens so it isn't lean right???
Can anyone shed some light please

its amazing what a little crap from the tank will do to a carb even though its brand new you wont even see the stuff in the carb its not hard to pull off and clean it right , it will most likely run right after this this is all good advice on here, probably because we all had to do it too.
good luck
