OK Damnit lol, i get the diff seals done under warranty now back ones are leaking again andddddd this is small, but aggravating lol. Took my ole hound out for a hunt the other night headn down the road and poof my left high beam just goes out, i slap the sh*t out of the switch and bulb and it pops back on lol. I doubt its the switch, because it controls both lights, and it wouldnt cause just one to act up.
Usually the cause, is the filment in the bulb is broke, but not burned out. Itll vibrate around , and sometimes itll reach the other side of the post, and sometimes it vibrates away.
Take the bulb out, and lightly flick the glass with a fingernail. If you see the filment rattle and vibrate, its toast.

Hey Kernal, I had this same problem with my 05' 450. The problems is the sockets get hot and melt. The dealer replaced mine under warranty.
