Default clutch or belt problem, can anyone help?

i have a 04 500 sp with 2600 miles.i have noticed the last while when you gun it to get up to speed at about 40mph it feels like it shifts gears, and when your going though the bush you can feel the engine brake come on then it gets to a point and it comes on twice as hard. i was wondering if this is normal,or belt wear or clutch wear?

the best way is to take off the clutch cover and take a look. sometimes that ebs bushing starts to feeze up,a nd you can check your belt and take a peek at the entire thing to check it out. just an idear to start with.
