I am wanting to rid of my oil inj. I would'nt mind gettin rid of the plastic stock throttle housing either. This brings be to believe that if I relocate the 4x4 switch to the dash somehow, I will have no problems w/ aftermarket throttles or cables.

I am no wiring/electrition buff. I need help. Has anyone attepmted this before. How would I go about doing it.

Feel free to email me!

Thanks!

EC

Locate the wires that go to the 4x4 switch. Route them to wherever you want the switch, and hook them up. The 4x4 is just a simple on/off switch, so a toggle switch or anything similar will work. Just a matter of where you want to run it.

For me its a little tougher than just hooking them up.

There are 6 wires going into that switch.
1 black, 1 brown, 1 brown/white, 2 grey, and 1 grey/white.

I have a very nice toggle switch here in front of me that has a tab labeled power, a tab labeled ACC, and a tab labeled ground.

Now when I cut these wires from the throttle housing, which wires go where on the toggle switch? (or do I need another switch?)

Thanks EC
