How do you start the ruby when cold. Having a hard time flooding and its only 20F.

Maybe your choke is sticking. Mine does, so until I get a chance to get it back to the dealer, I've been using the primer.

Mine has yet to flood but, it does seem to run really rich. It's popping through the exhaust as I let off the gas after hard acceleration. I don't see any black smoke at all either which I think is strange.

The coldest morning in which I started mine was 15 degrees. I didn't use the primer, just the choke.

The Rubicons run rich from the factory. When I installed my snorkel, it leaned it up and now it runs better.

I believe its on the right hand side. Take off that small cover for the pull start, and it should be right there on the carb if I am not mistaken.

i believe the Rubicon has the same carb heater and primer button as the 450.
First turn the key on, pull the choke button out, wait a couple of seconds for the carb heater to warm the carb, then start. If this does not work your choke cable may need adjusting. My 450 has started in -40 degree temp using this procedure, without even using the primer.
