Default Trailblazer base gasket

In the repair manual from Polaris, for the trailblazer it says to use gasket making material from locktite on the top annd bottom of the base gasket of the cylinder. I did it and it blew out. I never done it on any of my other quads. So is it safe to go without the gasket material.

Just buy a new base gasket.

You don't need anything else.

Default Trailblazer base gasket

yea, I saw that in the manual too, I ordered a cometic gasket set & the base
gasket looked alot different than the polaris oem that came on it, the new set
didn't say anything about coating it with anything, so I didn't, & have not had
any problem at all.
