Ok i am wanting to know how much to sell my 1965 mustang for?? It does need work The engine runs and it has a 3 speed tranny in it.. The rust iz on the floor where ur feet go.. the sceats are ripped and stuff like that.. just a fixer upper But the engine does run... The body iz pretty straight... And i am wondering how much i should sell it for? i was thinking 2000 OBO that sound right?? everything iz 100% stock i stripped it down and was going to redo it.. But i havent had the time and cash to get it done i am guessing it needs about 4 grand to make it really nice ( the body and interior and everything... Thats the only reason why i am selling it dont have time and i already have to many projects... so any one please let me know what ya think!

 

First of all, kudos to you for having the good sense to recoginize that you will probably never get around to restoring it. I hate to see classic cars end up like this: http://www.carsinbarns.com/

Secondly, so much depends on the condition of the car and the options. You never said if it was a V8 or V6. I would suggest checking eBay and see what similar cars are selling for. They currently have 100 different 1965 Mustangs of various conditions.

 

Its a V8 289 engine... 2 barrel carb...
