06' 450er won't start when it's hot
#2
My 450er starts right up when it's cold, but is next to impossible to start when hot. I've read of other people having this problem. I've turned up the idle to prevent stalling it when hot, but I still manage to stall it periodically. After riding for 20 minutes or so, it just doesn't want to fire up. If I bump start it, it fires right up. I know not to touch the gas when starting it. I've heard horror stories about people ruining their starter clutch giving it gas when using the electric start. When it's hot and won't start, if I let it sit for a minute or two it will fire right up. I took mine to the dealer today since my warranty runs out next month. Although like I said I have read of other people having this problem, my dealer says they haven't had any brought back for an issue like mine. So let me know if you have/had this problem and let me know if your dealer did anything about it please. Thanks in advance for any help!
