Default carb needle adjustment

I think that somebody on here told me to move my needle clip down a notch to move the needle up and that would wake up my blaster on low and mid range acceleration. It wouldn't be so sluggish. Is that something to try? Would it work?

It might just be your idle if its bogging right away. Try messing with that first.

It idles fine and revs up right off an idle awesome. It just feels like under acceleration it is doggy. I might just be riding my friends yfz too much or something.

I messed with my needle today and moved the clip down a groove which makes the needle up higher. That made a huge difference just off an idle and into it a little bit. My quad will try to pull the wheels in third now right after the shift.
